These Terms of Service govern your use of Oteva's AI-powered services for local businesses. By signing up or using our platform, you agree to these terms.

Services

Oteva provides AI voice agents, chatbots, and automation tools designed to help local businesses capture leads, handle inbound calls, and streamline customer communication. Specific features vary by plan.

Call recording & compliance

If you forward an active phone line to Oteva's voice AI system, you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing call recording and monitoring, including two party (all party) consent laws where required (e.g., California, Illinois, Washington). This includes providing any legally required disclosures or notifications to callers before or at the start of each call. Oteva is not liable for any failure on your part to obtain required consent.

Billing

• All plans are billed month to month with no long-term contracts.
• Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time, with no fees, no penalties.
• Charges for the current billing cycle are non-refundable upon cancellation; access continues through the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Oteva to:

• Harass, spam, or deceive callers or contacts
• Violate any telemarketing laws including TCPA and Do Not Call regulations
• Impersonate a human agent without disclosure where legally required

Limitation of liability

Oteva is not liable for missed calls, lost leads, service interruptions, or any indirect damages arising from use of our platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the prior 30 days.
